A local-born midfielder who was handed a squad number by Manchester United for the 2002/03 season.
Pugh signed for the Old Trafford club as a trainee in the summer of 1999.
He came on as a substitute in United's match with Italian side Parma in the Amsterdam Tournament at the beginning of August 2002.
Pugh made his first competitive appearance for United as a 75th minute substitute for Ruud van Nistelrooy in the 5-2 Champions League demolition of Maccabi Haifa in September 2002. His Premiership bow came as a sub against Tottenham Hotspur a few days later.
He made five appearances in the 2002/03 season, but will struggle to break through at Old Trafford.
